JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
This role will work cross-functionally to support financial, operational, and strategic analysis across Greystar’s global business, providing a candidate broad exposure to the firm. The position needs an intellectually curious individual who can assess projects through different viewpoints including that of the end-consumer, real estate investor, and corporate finance professional. Prior investment banking, private equity, or management consulting experience is required with a preference towards those with a demonstrated interest in real estate.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Financial modeling and analysis
- Working with large amounts of data to formulate into actionable insights
- Market research and strategy formulation for prospective investment ventures
- Preparation of marketing materials and conference presentations
- Portfolio allocation analysis and market/investment recommendations
- New investment idea generation/vetting
- Strategic and operational analysis of existing venture performance
- Thought leadership in cultivating the “House View”
- Creating new tools to value and underwrite new geographies, products and investment opportunities
- Corporate strategy support regarding the deployment of balance sheet capital in accretive opportunities focused on product expansion and the enhancement of Greystar’s current capabilities
Qualifications:
- One or more years of work experience in financial services (e.g. investment banking, consulting)
- A bachelor’s degree is required in finance, accounting, business, real estate, economics, or related field
- Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills

Additional Compensation:
- Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
- Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
