POSITION SUMMARY Installs, repairs and maintains campus technology across all seven of the College’s campuses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshoots and repairs microcomputer hardware and peripherals. Plans, designs and installs new endpoint devices and software systems. Administers and maintains software deployment systems and creates images and installation packages. Reviews and resolves service tickets for campus-related requests. Typical Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
85% Test Administration
1. Operates Testing Centers with or without Testing Technician I (checks in students, pulls student tests, finds passwords, handles student/instructor concerns, seats examinees, helps examinees log-on to computers, starts timing instruments as needed, collects completed tests and testing materials, watches examinees to ensure administration conditions are met in the Testing Centers, etc.).
2. Successfully complete requirement necessary to achieve certification to administer a number of standardized exams, such as CLEP, DSST, Pearson-Vue and HISET.
3. Explains individual testing requirements to students—procedures and resolves any misunderstandings using appropriate customer service and management techniques. 4. Collaborate with faculty regarding test revisions, availability of tests, and guidelines and testing options for various tests.
5. Prepare an Incident Report to document irregularities, testing discrepancies, or dishonesty and forward report and copies of pertinent materials to faculty and Test Supervisor.
6. Maintains an optimal testing environment that adheres to college, standardized and National College Testing Association (NCTA) standards.
7. Collaborates with Supervisor, Test Administrators, and other testing staff regarding improving/changing testing operations, staffing, and updating of Testing Center policies and procedures.
8. Provides information, clarification and advice to testing staff regarding test delivery, policies, procedures, test retrieval and use of specialized computer testing software.
9. Interprets often complicated procedures for administration of proctored tests from other colleges/universities and standardized testing companies; and comprehends delivery methods for several categories of tests, including classroom make-up, Internet, CBT, essays, pre-GED, and other remote/proctored exams delivered paper/pencil or computer-based format.
10. Helps maintain security and accountability of tests before, during, and after testing in compliance with established guidelines.

The college has two vehicles and two hitch trailers (24-ft and 28-ft) associated with the mobile learning lab: • One F-350 truck with Super Duty Crew cab 60” cab towing 28-ft hitch trailer • One F-250 XL reg cab, 8ft bed towing 24-ft hitch trailer College will provide an advance driver schedule to the greatest extent possible --- normally providing at least one-week advance notice. Mobile Learning Lab transportation area is within the Greater Memphis metro region with no overnight travel. Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Have a current unencumbered Tennessee Paramedic License, Instructor Coordinator preferred</li>
<li>Hold current provider certifications in:
<ul>
<li>Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers</li>
<li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support</li>
<li>Pediatric Advanced Life Support</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Instructor level certification in the above is preferred</li>
<li>Maintains current license/certifications as required.</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Pre-Hospital Care provider or equivalent knowledge and experience as approved by the program director to meet the specific needs of the program.</li>
<li>Satisfactory expertise in computer technology sufficient to perform the job duties as outlined. </li>
<li>Previous experience in the use, programming, and maintenance of high fidelity simulation equipment is preferred.</li>
<li>Previous experience in EMS related instruction/administration is preferred</li>

Job Summary
This is a part-time, Adjunct Faculty position in the Medical Lab Technician program. THIS POSTING IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF AN OPEN POSITION. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring and summer. The Medical Lab Technician Adjunct Instructor will provide instruction for the Medical Lab Technician and Phlebotomy programs. The instructor will be responsible for providing students with a complete syllabus containing objectives, resenting enthusiastic, organized and clear lectures and classroom activities consistent with the course syllabus as well as labs concurrent with the lectures. The lecture and labs will be designed to continually promote the development and effective use of the skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, computation, problem solving, and decision-making; providing the student with timely information and feedback on his/her academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework, and projects; maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student academic performance; and possessing a thorough knowledge and understanding of all college policies.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Prepares and delivers instruction on topics in Medical Lab Technology and Phlebotomy.</li>
<li>Compiles, administers, evaluates and grades students' class work, laboratory work, assignments, tests, and papers fairly and consistently; and keep students informed about their progress through the prompt grading of papers and other work.</li>
<li>Develops curricula and instructional material such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintains office hours for students seeking academic advice, assists in student recruitment and retention; and assists students with course-related problems outside of the classroom.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintains accurate student attendance records, grades, and other required records in compliance with federal FERPA regulations.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Attends all faculty meetings, college assemblies, professional development and orientation activities, and other meetings as called by the President, Dean or Department Chair.</li>
<li>Keeps abreast of developments in the field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences.</li>
<li>Participates in departmental and college committees; and provides outreach service to the community.&nbsp;</li>

Minimum Qualifications

<li>Bachelor’s in Science as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist credentialed by American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologist (AMT) and holds a current TN state license as a Technologist.</li>
