Title: Testing Technician II (Temporary Part-Time)
 Department: Testing Center

Position Summary: The overall purpose of this job is: The Testing Center is responsible for the testing activities of PSCC. These primarily include administration, proctoring and proper security of testing materials. We also administer basic skills assessment tests, class testing for teachers including on line courses, testing for off campus agencies, other colleges and universities and the administration of DSST and CLEP exams.
Typical Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
85% Test Administration
1. Operates Testing Centers with or without Testing Technician I (checks in students, pulls student tests, finds passwords, handles student/instructor concerns, seats examinees, helps examinees log-on to computers, starts timing instruments as needed, collects completed tests and testing materials, watches examinees to ensure administration conditions are met in the Testing Centers, etc.).
2. Successfully complete requirement necessary to achieve certification to administer a number of standardized exams, such as CLEP, DSST, Pearson-Vue and HISET.
3. Explains individual testing requirements to students—procedures and resolves any misunderstandings using appropriate customer service and management techniques. 4. Collaborate with faculty regarding test revisions, availability of tests, and guidelines and testing options for various tests.
5. Prepare an Incident Report to document irregularities, testing discrepancies, or dishonesty and forward report and copies of pertinent materials to faculty and Test Supervisor.
6. Maintains an optimal testing environment that adheres to college, standardized and National College Testing Association (NCTA) standards.
7. Collaborates with Supervisor, Test Administrators, and other testing staff regarding improving/changing testing operations, staffing, and updating of Testing Center policies and procedures.
8. Provides information, clarification and advice to testing staff regarding test delivery, policies, procedures, test retrieval and use of specialized computer testing software.
9. Interprets often complicated procedures for administration of proctored tests from other colleges/universities and standardized testing companies; and comprehends delivery methods for several categories of tests, including classroom make-up, Internet, CBT, essays, pre-GED, and other remote/proctored exams delivered paper/pencil or computer-based format.
10. Helps maintain security and accountability of tests before, during, and after testing in compliance with established guidelines.

Performs office related duties as required, including answering phones and making test appointments, preparing deposits for testing funds, creating flyers for test schedules and policies, answering test questions, scanning tests or answer sheets, making copies, filing, and faxing/mailing tests/reports.

Required Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent · Minimum of one year full-time work experience administering standardized paper/pencil and computer based testing · Experience with the use of computer equipment and knowledge of office related skills. · Certification training and exams must be completed prior to administering tests that requires such certification (HISET, CLEP, etc.).

Must have excellent problem solving and organizational skills. Must have excellent decision making skills. Excellent customer service and computer related skills are required to be fully qualified for this position. A second language is not needed or required.

Events will be attended by student audiences (minors). The college has two vehicles and two hitch trailers (24-ft and 28-ft) associated with the mobile learning lab: • One F-350 truck with Super Duty Crew cab 60” cab towing 28-ft hitch trailer • One F-250 XL reg cab, 8ft bed towing 24-ft hitch trailer College will provide an advance driver schedule to the greatest extent possible --- normally providing at least one-week advance notice. Mobile Learning Lab transportation area is within the Greater Memphis metro region with no overnight travel. Job Duties

<li>Driver is expected to remain with truck during the duration of Mobile Lab events.</li>
<li>Arrive on Macon Cove campus one hour prior to departure to conduct safety inspection of trucks and trailers.</li>
<li>Connect truck and trailer, if necessary, and verify safety</li>
<li>Drive to Mobility Lab event locations.</li>
<li>Disconnect trucks and trailers, and move truck to safe location.</li>
<li>At the conclusion of Mobility Lab events, the driver will safely reconnect trucks and trailers; Connect truck and trailer and verify safety.</li>
<li>% - Return trucks and trailers to Macon Cove campus.</li>

Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>A valid commercial drivers license.</li>
<li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li>

This is a part-time, Adjunct Faculty position in the Medical Lab Technician program. THIS POSTING IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF AN OPEN POSITION. Job Duties

Job Summary
This is a part-time, Adjunct Faculty position in the Department of Pharmacy Technology. THIS POSTING IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF AN OPEN POSITION. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring and summer. The Pharmacy Technician Instructor will provide instruction for the Pharmacy Technology program. The instructor will be responsible for providing students with a complete syllabus containing objectives, presenting enthusiastic, organized and clear lectures and classroom activities consistent with the course syllabus as well as labs concurrent with the lectures. Both lecture and labs will be designed to continually promote the development and effective use of the skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, computation, problem-solving, and decision-making. Providing the student with timely information and feedback on his/her academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework, and projects; maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student academic performance; and possessing thorough knowledge and understanding of all college policies. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, academic advising, serving on various committees, participating in professional activities and organizations.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Prepares and delivers instruction delivers instruction in classroom and clinical facilities on topics in Pharmacy Technology</li>
<li>Compiles, administers, evaluates and grades students' class work, laboratory work, assignments, tests, and papers fairly and consistently; and keep students informed about their progress through the prompt grading of papers and other work.</li>
<li>Develops curricula and instructional material such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.</li>
<li>Maintains office hours for students seeking academic advice, assists in student recruitment and retention; and assists students with course-related problems outside of the classroom.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate student attendance records, grades, and other required records in compliance with federal FERPA regulations.</li>
<li>Attends all faculty meetings, college assemblies, professional development and orientation activities, and other meetings as called by the President, Dean or Department Chair.</li>
<li>Keeps abreast of developments in the field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences.</li>
<li>Participates in departmental and college committees; and provides outreach service to the community.</li>
<li>Effectively administer assessment of student learning and technical objectives.</li>
<li>Ensure safe and reasonable precautions are implemented to protect students, equipment, and facilities.</li>
<li>Prepare for class and lab instruction and show written evidence of preparation.</li>
