POSITION:                    Registered Nurses – Summer School (Internal Only)

LOCATION:Various

REPORTS TO:School Principal AND Coordinator of Health Services

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Provides general health care services to students within the Hartford Public School system. This program will be in-person.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

●      Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut. 

●      Must be a graduate of an accredited school for nurses. 

●      Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. 

●      Prior nursing experience in an educational environment preferred.

●      Knowledge of school health procedures, i.e. state and federal mandates. 

●      Must have transportation.

SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Regular per-diem hourly rate based upon salary of individual selected. No holidays, vacation or sick leave during this scheduled program period. Applicants who cannot work through the entire program due to scheduling conflicts should not apply.

Anticipated program dates are July 1, 2024 - August 2, 2024.The program will run Monday – Friday. Location and hours of employment are subject to change based on student enrollment.
