QuickCare Provider (MD/DO/NP/PA)

This is not your typical Urgent Care position.

This position will serve as the QuickCare provider for a Primary Care Provider group. You will NOT be assigned a panel of patients. You will, however, work closely with PCP’s to provide same day acute visits and to address the management of chronic conditions for which same day access to a medical provider is necessary. We are seeking a skilled and flexible provider who thrives in a fast paced clinical environment, who values being part of a multi-disciplinary care team, and who has a good sense of humor!

Northwest Human Services is a Joint Commission Accredited Federally Qualified Health Center. Our services and our patients are very diverse. We offer primary medical, mental health and dental care as well as a host of wrap services addressing social determinants of health including care coordination, sheltering, housing and transportation. From our Accredited 24 hour crisis Hotline to our Latino outreach services and homeless sheltering centers, we are able to offer a full array of supports for our patients not found at most medical clinics!

We have both a full-time and a part-time position available.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
In addition to being awesome, urgent care experience and EMR proficiency is preferred. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an MD or DO, NP, or PA in the State of Oregon, have prescriptive authority and current DEA certification.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
A desire to work with a diverse patient population and a commitment to addressing social determinants of health in a team approach to Primary Care is preferred. Previous Community Health Center experience and bi-lingual skills in Spanish are also a plus!
