With offices in San Antonio, TX, and DC, they are a grant maker and US Treasury-certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). They support our members through training, funding, policy advocacy, and resources to amplify the impact of their programs and services. Working together, their network can effect real change. Our client’s Network members invest in their communities by building affordable housing, addressing gentrification, supporting small business growth, and providing financial counseling on issues including credit building and homeownership. They aim to strengthen the economy by advancing economic mobility in Latino communities.

Your Role:

As the Project Manager, you will oversee various projects, ensuring they run smoothly and meet their goals. You will manage risks, track finances, and keep projects on schedule. Additionally, you will help deliver grants, technical support, and training to nonprofit organizations, aiming to enhance and grow asset-building programs.

To thrive, you should have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in community or economic development, government, or housing programs.
  • 3+ years of experience in the nonprofit sector or related fields like federal/state programs and community development.
  • Knowledge of federal programs and regulations (e.g., SBA, HUD, CDBG).
  • Proven project management and team supervision experience.
  • Solid presentation, communication, and research skills; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Your key responsibilities and duties as the Project Manager will include:

  • Plan, organize, and manage program delivery, including grantmaking, technical assistance, and training for nonprofits focused on asset-building, financial capability, and small business development.
  • Oversee grant-making activities, including outreach, application reviews, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Strengthen member organizations’ programs through funding support, peer network building, and identifying best practices.
  • Coordinate nonprofit collaboration, organizing calls, meetings, events, and training sessions.
  • Manage relationships with funders, investors, and third-party consultants, ensuring compliance and budget oversight.
