Description

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to work in our MFC Electrical Department. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our Materials & Fuels Complex (MFC) facility with every Friday off.

The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and direction in executing electrical maintenance activities at MFC.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervise represented Journeymen electricians.
  • Maintain schedules and workflow of the team.
  • Direct your team on a course of action based on knowledge of established procedures. Assign tasks and monitor work at frequent intervals.
  • Execute specified tasks.
  • Monitor projects to ensure completion on schedule and within budget. Provide input and contribute to managing costs related to a unit or subunit.
  • Optimize the use of materials, tools, and manpower to achieve cost efficiency while following strict procedural adherence.
  • First level of management with human resource responsibilities (i.e hiring, promotions, etc.)
  • May have own individual contributor responsibilities but people management is an essential element of the job.
  • Work with team members and/or functional peer groups.
  • Follow established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to protect staff, equipment, and the environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • You will report to the Senior Manager.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution and nine years of management experience, OR associate's degree from an accredited institution and eleven years of management experience, OR high school diploma and fifteen years of management experience.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.


Preferred Experience: 

  • Electrical experience in a nuclear environment. Proven leadership record managing 10 plus staff. 


Job Information: 

  • The target pay range for this position is $81,772.00- $124,892.00 annually.  The full pay range is $76,980.00 - $177,036.00. At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
  • You are required to show a demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
  • TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
