Overview

LMI is seeking a mid-level to senior-level Scheduler to support Defense lifecycle logistics management, financial analysis, and audit readiness support for an Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment (OASD[Sustainment]) Project. Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
  • Provide expertise to support the development and maintenance of schedules for complex acquisition programs.
  • Maintain and incorporate program milestones for visualization.
  • Conduct Critical Path analysis.
  • Develop executive level schedule metrics and management reports.
  • Evaluate schedules provided by contractors, other agencies, and internal entities.
  • Attend program/project meetings to discuss and review schedules.
  • Develop and conduct training of scheduling standards/best practices and processes/procedures.
  • Manage dashboards for information and reporting, including trend analysis, and project performance. 
  • Prepare, format, and develop briefs, project papers, status/staff reports, and correspondence.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, management, finance, or information management and 7-10 years of experience in scheduling.
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active DOD background investigation preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.
  • Proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with KIDASA Milestones Professional or other schedule visualization software.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively solve complex problems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DOD Experience.
  • Professional certification in a relevant field such as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
