It begins with a Card Member using an American Express Card at one of our millions of Merchants around the world – the rest is up to us. The Network Acquirer Solutions team (NAS) is the heart of the American Express Enterprise, powering billions of transactions through the global payments processing network that we develop and manage.

NAS is unique within the Enterprise. We work across almost every American Express business unit as well as external partners, providers, and key industry stakeholders. We are known to be intellectually curious problem solvers as we tackle the most imperative initiatives facing the payments industry today.

The Network Delivery team within NAS delivers new technical solutions to meet the evolving demands of global payment networks and adapt to local needs while ensuring continued global interoperability. This enables the Enterprise to attract new customers, operate in new markets, react to changing regulatory demands, and process new types of payments.  A role in the Network Delivery team will challenge you to broaden your skillset and industry acumen in a collaborative, diverse and inclusive team environment.

We are looking for a talented Product Delivery & Integration Leader to join our team.  This role will be responsible for leading end to end cross functional delivery of products across technologies and product teams.  This leader will connect the dots across dependencies, projects, programs and priorities to ensure seamless delivery of a product. 

The success of the role will depend upon the individual’s ability to lead a globally distributed team, to understand and drive quality delivery across multiple contributing and stakeholder organizations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with stakeholders to define and align on strategic objectives. Manage relationships across multiple business stakeholders as well as technology, finance, and compliance partnerships.
  • Responsible for the leadership of cross functional programs and project teams.
  • Drives innovation and product development within a dynamic, agile environment.
  • Responsible for delivery optimization aligned to technology and business priorities
  • Develop an environment of continuous improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.
  • Partner with Technology leaders across the enterprise to support and drive the delivery of programs and projects.
  • Coach, guide and promote the creation of high quality, clearly documented, and compliant deliverables across Product Delivery & Integration teams.
  • Deliver consistent and accurate project communications and expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Project management and planning experience with extensive application of SAFE Agile discipline.
  • Proven track record of change management and delivery in complex and highly matrixed organizations.
  • Intellectually curious, creative, problem-solver.
  • Accomplished global team leader.
  • Strong technical acumen.
  • Payments industry experience, preferably including understanding of Network and payment technology and processes for debit/credit processing and policy and operations.
  • High energy, an optimistic attitude, and a good sense of humor.

Salary Range: $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
