Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian/Kentucky within 6 months of hire.
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this position include: regularly standing/walking with objects up to 10lbs, regularly sitting at a computer work station for extended periods of time (includes repetitive motions).
Shift
PRN; Minimum 1 shift per week, approximately 8:00am – 4:30pm, occasional weekends and holidays required
Job Summary
- Performs as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
- Responsible for the evaluation, coordination, and implementation of the nutrition care plan for patients.
- Provides education and counseling to patients on their nutritional needs.
- Ensures customer satisfaction and good public relations through the safe and efficient use of resources.
- Performs duties in compliance with performance improvement plans, TJC, and other licensing, accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
- Serves as a nutrition educator for students, medical staff, health professionals, and/or general public.
This position will serve in a PRN capacity. The ideal candidate will be available to work regular weekends and holidays as well as weekdays for weekend and/or vacation coverage.
