Pay Range

$47,700.00-$65,600.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.   Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus. 

The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for timely and accurate processing, verifying, analyzing, and reporting accounts payable transactions. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will also be responsible for supporting JM plants, staff groups, and vendors with the resolution of accounts payable issues.

This position is based out of our world headquarters in Denver, CO (717 17th St. Denver, CO). The team works a rotating hybrid schedule; 3 days are in the office and 2 days are remote. Johns Manville does offer free parking or an RTD pass for their employees.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Process invoices, ensure proper discounts taken, prices correct and coded to proper account, enter invoices into proper system, file, research imbalances and other accounts payable issues
  • Ensure internal controls and policies are adhered to
  • Ensure transaction entry verification procedures are followed
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and emails with timely follow-up and resolution of any issues
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly analyses and reports as required
  • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
  • Document processes and procedures and identify improvement opportunities

What You Bring to the Team:

  • High School/Technical School diploma or a minimum of 2 years accounts payable experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic organization skills
  • Solid, professional communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
  • Solid research and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Minimal travel required (0 – 10 days per year)
  • Work environment is typical of an office setting
